2007-04-11 | Head of Nails

From March 15th to 30th the rehearsals for the co-production “Head of Nails” by the Russian author Daniil Kharms took place in three different European cities. In each case 3 actors from O Bando, Palmela, Portugal; het MUZ, Zaandam, Netherlands and Experimental Stage, St.Petersburg, Russia went to rehearsals to the partner-theatres for each time a week. They worked with the foreign directors discovering their different methods and approaches. When they came “home” influenced by all this rich experiences they finalized the work with their original director for their national audience. For the Annual Meeting in Schwerin the 3 directors Joao Brites, Ben Harrison and Anatoli Praudin will develop a performance with the involvement of all 9 actors.
